Started in 2007 as the Non-GMO Project, we’ve grown our initiatives to address the retail food system from source to shelf.  

At the intersection of the making, selling, and buying of natural retail food, Food Integrity has a place for everyone. Learn about our product certification programs or join us in our work as activators and curious learners.

Our flagship certification program Non-GMO Project Verified is recognizable across the world and is North America's most rigorous certification for avoiding GMOs. Through growing this program for 19 years we know what it means to not just be food labeled, but verified to a higher standard. 

Non-ultraprocessed

The Non-UPF Verified program continues our mission to give eaters a trustworthy way to identify food made with integrity, and give brands and retailers a credible way to demonstrate their commitment to a less processed food supply. It’s a new way to look for the Butterfly to identify thoughtfully made, minimally processed foods.
